Chronic Illness and Marriage

Listen today and then submit your questions for Dr. Bing to address in future podcasts.  You can do that here.  He hopes to post a podcast each Friday.

He would also like to share dating ideas you’ve found fun for you and your spouse.  Couples need ideas to stay connected.  We need more than going to dinner and a movie.  Send us your creative ideas how you’ve solved this common problem.

The third area Dr. Bing would like to cover in his podcasts is sharing stories from podcast listeners or amescounselingcenter.com blog readers of them overcoming obstacles in their marriages and coming out the other side.  So many people divorce when they are going through a tough time when, in fact, the tough time does indeed pass!  Share your success stories so we can encourage other couples to hang in there when problems arise.

The question Dr. Bing addresses in today’s podcast  is from Woody.  He writes:

I’ve always wanted to hear someone about keeping a marriage alive when chronic illness is a constant companion.  I do not recall hearing anyone addressing this issue in any meaningful fashion.

This is certainly a tough question for our first podcast!  YIKES!  Have a listen and see what Dr. Bing had to say.
